In order to enable the public to pass on information about instances on tax evasion and to enable the  public to convey their suggestions, grievances and complaints an Interactive Voice Recording System in the Office of the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes have been installed, connected to the telephone No.(044) 28520535.

Facility is provided both in Tamil and English to register their message, which will be received only by the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes and kept confidential. Action will be initiated immediately and result will be informed to the dialer if requested.
